CHARITY TO CHARITY SUPPORT

Compass Rose Charities, Inc. provides financial support to other charities with a similar purpose. If you are part of a 501(c)(3) organization that supports civilian members of the Intelligence, Diplomatic, or Defense communities and need extra support for a specific purpose, fill out the Application for Charity to Charity Support and submit it to CRC office (address on homepage). The Compass Rose Charities Board of Directors meets quarterly to assess applications. Ability to support other charities is dictated by the success of the annual fundraiser and number of other charities in need.

FUEL AND FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Compass Rose Charities, Inc. provides grants for Intelligence Community (IC) employees who have had an unforeseen emergency such as personal hardship, death in the family or loss of property due to a natural disaster. If this emergency has caused you a financial loss to the extent that you are unable to pay basic living needs, you are eligible to apply. Simply fill out the Emergency Assistance application and submit it through the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA). You must be currently employed by an Intelligence Community Agency, as defined by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The Compass Rose Charities, Inc. Scholarship Program is open to current employees of the Intelligence Community (IC) as defined by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and their dependent family members (spouse/child). FEEA administers this scholarship fund.

In 2012, CRC awarded two (2) $5,000 scholarships to two collegiate students—a freshman who entered Towson State University this past fall, and a sophomore who attends New York University.
